Destiny Boy’s Mysterious Death: One Suspect In Custody -Police
The Ogun State Police Command has launched an investigation into the death of Adesina Afeez, popularly known as Destiny Boy, a 22-year-old Afrobeats singer.
According to the Police Public Relations Officer in Ogun State, Oluseyi Babaseyi, the case has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), Homicide Section, for further investigation.
He said one suspect is currently in custody, and investigations are ongoing.
Destiny Boy, popularly known for his unique “Fuji-infused” Afrobeats sound, gained fame with his viral cover of Davido’s “If” in 2019.
He recently welcomed his first child in November 2024 and proposed to his partner in March 2024.
The cause of his death is still unknown, but the police command vows to unravel the misery behind the untimely death.
