The Ogun State Police Command has filed a six-count charge against Adetoun Onajobi, a popular social media personality, for allegedly using online platforms to bully the Ogun State Governor and publish false accusations against the state government.

According to a statement by the Police Public Relations Officer in Ogun State, DSP Oluseyi Babaseyi, Onajobi popularly known as @JustAdetoun on social media was invited for questioning on January 2, 2026, but she failed to appear, claiming medical reasons.

However, investigations revealed that the medical report she submitted was false, and the doctor who issued it has been arrested and arraigned in court.

Onajobi has been evading police summons, and her current whereabouts are unknown.

The police command vows to apprehend her and bring her to court to face the charges.

The statement reads, “The Ogun State Police Command remains resolute in tackling all forms of crime, ensuring full respect for constitutional rights. Constitutionally protected activities like free speech have lawful limits and do not grant immunity from criminal conduct.”

The police are also pursuing other suspects connected to the alleged false information used to obstruct investigations.
