Seyi Tinubu, Akínkanjú Ọkùnrin, I’m proud of You — Chief Ibrahim Egungbohun hails President’s Son at 40
Renowned businessman and philanthropist, Chief Ibrahim Dende Egungbohun, has showered glowing tributes on Mr. Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on the occasion of his 40th birthday, describing him as “a man of valour, a bridge builder, and a true patriot.”
In a congratulatory message released to newsmen in the early hours of October 13, 2025, the CEO of IBD IMPEX LTD, popularly known as IBD Dende, commended Seyi Tinubu for his “unusual leadership qualities, charisma, and genuine commitment to national unity.”
“Seyi, I celebrate your 40th birthday not just for the number, but for the rare qualities you have consistently shown — during the 2023 electioneering and over the past two years of your father’s administration as the sixteenth President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Federal Republic of Nigeria (GCFR),” he said.
Chief Egungbohun lauded Seyi Tinubu’s growing influence among Nigerian youths, describing him as “their own — one who feels their pulse and acts selflessly to make positive change happen.”
“You have become an indispensable national asset. From the West to the North, South to the East, Nigerians have witnessed you rebuild broken bridges and establish new ones across the six geopolitical zones of our nation. You are indeed an Akínkanjú Ọkùnrin — a brave and noble man,” Egungbohun added.
The Ogun-born industrialist further praised Seyi Tinubu for his humility, courage, and impact on youth development, saying his leadership spirit inspires hope in millions of young Nigerians.
“You are the first in our nation’s history, as a President’s son, to genuinely identify with the aspirations of young Nigerians — to understand their struggles and provide meaningful solutions,” Egungbohun added.
“Seyi, every step of your valour makes me proud. I cherish that courage and aura with which you touch lives. I look forward to celebrating many more years of national impact with you.
He concluded with heartfelt congratulations, calling Seyi Tinubu “a true symbol of modern patriotism and leadership by example.
